Actors' Theatre Presents Much Ado About Nothing
Columbus, Franklin County
Much Ado About Nothing is a comedy by William Shakespeare set in Messina, Sicily. The story concerns a pair of lovers named Claudio and Hero who are due to be married in a week. To pass the time before their wedding day, they conspire with Don Pedro, the prince of Aragon, to trick their friends, Beatrice and Benedick, into confessing their love for one another. (more)

Independence Day 1813

July 4, 1813 was celebrated with cannon firings, toasts, music, and a day of leisure at Fort Meigs. War of 1812 soldiers and civilians will recreate this day through cannon firings, demonstrations, and hands-on activities for children. The highlight of the day is the eighteen-gun National Salute accompanied by toasts and fife and drum music starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 4.
